The Claremont Colleges Library employs students attending all of the Claremont Colleges. The Library's Student Program is essential for the provision of library services and the fulfillment of the Library's mission. The Library's Student Program strives to benefit students by providing foundational skills and experience, contributing to each student's learning and career goals and aspirations. For many students, working at the Library is a vital aspect of their campus life.
Students working in the library perform a wide variety of library assignments and have the opportunity to explore a variety of projects and services the library provides the Claremont Colleges community. Student assignments vary in level of responsibility, degree of complexity and difficulty, variety, and supervision. The potential for promotion to higher levels of responsibility is integrated into the Library's Student Program. Some positions require evening and weekend hours.
