CUC Records Center

The CUC Records Center houses most of the paper journals and a small percentage of books from the Library's collections. Materials at the Records Center may be browsed on site. Claremont Colleges faculty, students, and staff may also request materials for delivery in print or electronic format.

Where is the Records Center?

The Records Center is located at 2038 W. 11th St., Upland, CA  91786. It is approximately 2 miles east of Honnold/Mudd Library.

What are the Records Center hours?

The Records Center is regularly open Monday-Friday. Hours may vary; for the most current hours information, see Library Hours.

How may I gain access to materials stored at the Records Center?

Claremont Colleges faculty, students, and staff may submit requests for individual articles via the electronic delivery/interlibrary loan form. Articles will be scanned and delivered by email.

Claremont Colleges faculty, students, and staff may request that journal volumes and books be delivered to the Honnold/Mudd Services Desk for pick-up and, for faculty, delivered to their offices. Use "request" links in the individual Blais records to have items delivered.

Claremont Colleges faculty, students, and staff and community cardholders may contact Luis Arias, Manager of the Records Center, at (909) 607-3066 to make an appointment to view materials at the Records Center.

May visitors (alumni, community card holders, etc.) access materials stored at the Records Center?

Where should I return materials that have been checked out from the Records Center?

You may return materials to the Honnold/Mudd Services Desk. You may also return books in the library book drops.

Can I photocopy articles at the Records Center?

There are no photocopy machines available at the Records Center. Scanning to a thumb drive is sometimes available; please check with Luis Arias, Manager of the Records Center, at (909) 607-3066 before you come to the Records Center if you would like to make scans.
