Scholarly Communication, Digital Publishing, and Digital Initiatives

The Claremont Colleges Library's Scholarly Communication, Digital Publishing, and Digital Initiatives departments provide access to and delivery of the scholarship created by the Claremont Colleges students, faculty, and staff in support of the research and instructional missions of the colleges. In addition, the departments work to digitally preserve and make accessible items from the library's Special Collections, as well as items from The Claremont Colleges and surrounding community.

The Scholarly Communication, Digital Publishing, and Digital Initiatives departments provide:

  • Support in building and maintaining historical, educational, and visual resources collections created both by and for The Claremont Colleges community, please see the Claremont Colleges Digital Library

  • Visibility to Claremont affiliated publications, faculty and student scholarship, and digital humanities projects, as well as creation and management tools for journals, with Scholarship@Claremont.

  • Consultative services in the areas of digital projects, journal publishing and scholarly communications
