Information Literacy

The Claremont Colleges Library recently proposed a new Information Literacy (IL) definition for the 7Cs, in order to foster a common framework for understanding IL across the Colleges. The definition was adopted by all seven Claremont Colleges in 2013-2014. This follows on the Western Association of Schools & Colleges' recent adoption of IL as a "core competency" required for institutional accreditation.
