The Haskett Family Collection is a collection of letters, photographs, ephemera and other memorabilia documenting three generations of the Haskett/Baker Family of Pasadena, California. Both families arrived in Southern California in the mid-nineteenth century. The collection, mostly covering the period 1880–1920, offers researchers a glimpse into the lives of different generations of one family.
Of noted interest is the variety of nineteenth and early twentieth century photography found in the collection, including southwestern U.S. views, portraits of American Indians, European stereoscopic views, and Matthew Brady’s Civil War Generals carte de visite set.
