The Libraries of The Claremont Colleges are pleased to announce an Exhibition, “Celebrating the Wright Brothers' First Flight: Treasures from the James Carruthers Memorial Aviation Collection.” The exhibit will run from November 1, 2003–January 30, 2004 in the Special Collections exhibit cases on the second floor of Honnold/Mudd Library.

Special Guest, Fred Culick, Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Jet Propulsion at California Institute of Technology. Professor Culick is also part of a team that has built a replica of the 1903 Wright Flyer. He will speak briefly on the aviation and aviation techonlogy items featured in the exhibition.
