Using Library Computers
- The computer and network resources in the Library are provided to facilitate the learning and research needs of students, faculty, and staff of The Claremont Colleges.
- Use of the Library’s computers and network implies your agreement to the guidelines for appropriate use.
Please keep in mind that
- Files left on library workstations are deleted daily.
- The Library is not responsible for lost files or data, or for lost
or damaged disks. Please back up your data often by
- saving it to your usb drive or floppy disk.
- e-mailing it to yourself.
- saving it to a network user space.
- The login procedure and requirement are similar to other Claremont shared resources, e.g. Sakai:
- username@xxx
- password complexity requirements are enforced.

Printing
Copy cards are required for printing from library computers. Copy cards may be purchased at the Copy Center or from copy card dispenser machines located in each library.
Printing costs 10-cents per page or 15-cents for a double-sided page. Color printing is also available for an additional charge.
Internet Access
Library computers provide unrestricted access to the Internet, which contains materials offensive to some users. The Library is not responsible for content found in any external resource that is accessible from computer workstations in the Library.
